Lillian (Houk) Bailey, 96, of New Castle, formerly of Kennard, died Thursday morning, Dec. 20, 2012, at Hickory Creek in New Castle. She was born Feb. 23, 1916, in Kennard, the daughter of the late Oby W. and Nelle (Kuhn) Houk.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; daughter, Sue Collier; son, Max Bailey; and sisters, Ruth Erli and Anna May Cronk.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Dennis Kinser officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
