Virginia “Ginny” Lee Willis, 78, of Markleville, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at her residence. She was born Nov. 23, 1933, in Hancock County, Ind., and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Norma (Buskin) Martin.

She was a life long homemaker and had worked for the Pendleton Reformatory as a Medical Clerk. She was a member of the Shirley Order of Easter Star #492 now the New Castle Order of Eastern Star #116. She was past Worthy Matron and Past Grand Representative to Tennessee. Ginny was an avid bowler and former treasurer of the Henry County Bowling Association.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joe Willis of Markleville; three daughters, Donna (Mike) Smith of Indianapolis, Vickie (Ed) Manifold of Mooreland, Janice (Carl) Reynolds of Shirley; six grandchildren, Joel (Amy) Smith, AJ (Lauren) Smith, Nickie (Marc) Redick, Herb Manifold, Heather McKinley and Sabrina (Josh) Miller; six great grandchildren, Caleb & Mason Smith, Joey & Nicole Montgomery, Sammy & Callie Miller; sister, Betty Willits; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph & Harold Martin; and a sister, Martha Mae Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Condo and Son Funeral home in Wilkinson with Pastor Brent Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Curry’s Chapel Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, from 4-8 p.m. Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m.
