Deborah A. Borgmann, 56, of Pendleton, passed away on Nov. 8, 2012. She was born on Oct. 2, 1956, in Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of David and Myrna (Rupert) Scruton currently residing in Golden,Colo.

Debbie graduated from Burris High School in 1975 and attended Ball State University. She married Gary A. Borgmann on April 20, 1991, and worked as a certified travel agent for 25 years. Debbie was an organic farmer who grew produce and raised free range poultry. She was a member of the Hancock County Harvest Council and a former member of American Society of Travel Agents.

Surviving her are her husband, Gary A. Borgmann of Pendleton; daughter, Lucia Claire Borgmann of Pendleton; brother, Philip Scruton of Boca Raton, Fla.; mother and father-in-law, Floyd and Marjorie Borgmann of New Palestine; several sister and brothers in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at the mortuary.
