Raymond August Hubert, 95, a resident of Willow Branch, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice Unit. He was born June 21, 1917, in Perry County, Ind. and was the son of the late August and Mary Ellen (Cassidy) Hubert.
He retired in 1979, after 28 years of service, from Chrysler in Indianapolis. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and loved his family.
Surviving are four daughters, Joan (Vic) Toloday of Greenfield, Judy Toloday of Willow Branch, Roselee (John) Jones of Greenfield, Becky (Jerry) Garrett of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sons, Donald (Roxanne) Hubert of Blaine, WA, Michael (Rose) Hubert of Greenfield, Peter (Kim) Hubert of Greenfield; 21 grandchildren and 35 great – grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Frieda M (Peter) Hubert, Jan. 25, 1995; son-in-law, Michael Toloday; and six sisters.
Friends will be received at the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Greenfield with Father Bill Stumpf officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
