Paul C. Weiler, 75, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in Indianapolis. He was born on Sept. 30, 1937, in Lawrenceburg, Ind., to the late Clarence & Lori (Fuchs) Weiler.
He was graduated from Gilford High School in Gilford, Ind. He was a retired Indiana State Police Detective and worked for MAGLOCEN. Paul served in the Indiana Air National Guard in Chamblay – Bussieres France, and belonged to several organizations; Greenfield Rotary Club, Greenfield F.O. P #140 and Greenfield American Legion Post #119.
He is survived by his son, Kent Weiler of Greenfield; daughter, Lori Weiler, of Chicago; grandsons, Drew and Nathan Weiler of Greenfield; and sister, Julliann Collier of Greenfield.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley J. (Wallace) Weiler; and sister, Charlene Back.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home- Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
