Thomas G. Neylon, 79, of Greenfield, passed away on Oct. 15, 2012. Born on March 7, 1933, in Painesville, Ohio, he was the son of John Patrick and Marian (Kelsey) Neylon.

Tom married Sue C. Holden on November 17, 1956, in Greenfield, and he worked for Pearson Electric as an electrician for many years before retiring in 2009. He was a member of IBEW Local #481 and St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed working with his  hands and was a devoted family man and husband. Tom was also an Army Veteran, who served as a medic during the Korean War.

Surviving him are his wife, Sue Neylon of Greenfield; children, Cathy Stinson of Mooresville, Terri (Jim) Messersmith of McCordsville, Jona Bishop of McCordsville, Keith Neylon of Greenfield. Bret (Tracie) Neylon of Brownsburg, and Melanie (Steve) Kassen of Mooresville; siblings, Joan, Phil, Ken, and Patty; 11 grandchildren; and two-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and six siblings.

Private services will take place at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Burial will take place at Philadelphia Cemetery.
