Fred C. Duncan, 82, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Hancock Regional Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1930, to the late Fred Dale and Mildred L. (Ball) Duncan in Greenfield.
Fred was Maintenance Manager for Culligan Fyrprotexion and retired in 1992. He then became a saw operator for Crates and Pallets in Fountaintown, Ind. during his retirement. He was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church in Shelbyville.
He is survived by his spouse, Helen (Geiger) Duncan; son, Fred Dale Duncan, both of Fountaintown, Ind.; daughter, Tammy (Wayde) Veach of Morristown; six grandchildren, Jeff (Mandy) Cook, Becky (Danny) Barnes, Amber Montagano, Rebecca Montagano, Tiffany (Ryan) Beard, Victoria Veach; and five great- grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation on Wednesday Oct. 17, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service At Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield. Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown IN.
Memorial contribution in Mr. Duncan’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or to Liberty United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, Ind.
