Minnie Jane Herrell, 88, a Glenwood-area resident, died Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012, in Greenfield. She was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Claiborne County, Tenn., to Steward A. and Nanny (Sutton) Fultz.
She is survived by sons, Charles E. “Ed” (Lorinda) of Orange and Kenneth (Lisa) of Connersville; daughters, Janice (Tim) Fields of Greenfield and Victoria (Randy) Stone of New Palestine; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles H. Herrell; brothers, Charlie, Willard, Silas, Hubert, Lon, Warren and Bayless; and sisters, Hazel Hurst, Gertrude Hurst, Geneva Dunaway and Dorothy Stone.
Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct.12, 2012. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 2012, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Revs. Lawrence Fultz and John Dunaway presiding. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Fayette County.
