Rebecca M. Bennett (Glenn), 48, originally of Greenfield, passed away on Sept. 27, 2012, in Killeen, Texas. Born on Jan. 25, 1964, in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Robert L. Glenn and Amelia E. Beasley (King).
Rebecca graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1982. At the age of 20, she married Randall Hughes of Greenwood, Indiana and had twins Nicholas Hughes and Nicole DeJesus (Hughes). She later was remarried to Robert Bennett of Maxwell. Rebecca was an avid animal lover, reader and enjoyed the outdoors.
Surviving her are her children, Nicholas Hughes, of Harker Heights, Texas and Nicole DeJesus (Hughes) of Hutto, Texas; grandchildren, Jasmine DeJesus and Jayce DeJesus; mother, Amelia Beasley (King) of Shelbyville; siblings Kathleen Arthur (Glenn) of Oldsmar, Fla., Michael Glenn of Fairland, and Patricia Marquette (Glenn)of Spiceland.
Preceeding her in death was her late husband, Robert Bennett; father, Robert Glenn and older brother, Joseph Glenn.
A memorial dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Arni’s Restaurant 4705 East 96th St., Indianapolis, IN 46240.
