Anna Prikaszczikow, 88, of McCordsville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Seaton Specialty Hospital. She was born on June 12, 1924, in Rozborz Dlugi, Poland, the daughter of Rozalja and Teodore Cicirko, the youngest of 8 children who all have preceded her in death.

After coming to the United States in 1950, Anna worked at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis for 5 years, then at RCA for 20 years.

She met the love of her life, Nikolaj, while in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany in 1945. He preceded her in death after 62 years of marriage on Sept. 13, 2007.

She is survived by her loving children, Krystyna Hutnik of Greenfield, Helena (Phil) James of McCordsville, Lucy Parker of McCordsville, Mary (Richard) Harding of Fortville, Edward (Kelly) Prikaszczikow of Council Bluffs, IA and Olga (Bill) Fernandes of Greenwood. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, and again at 1 to 2 p.m., on Friday Oct. 5, 2012, at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary with services beginning at 2.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
