Patricia S. Mosley, 74, a long time Rush County resident, passed away Sept. 29, 2012, in Greenfield. She was born in Spiceland, Ind., on Feb. 2, 1938, to the late Charles C. and Inez L. (Stoops) Helms. She married James R. Mosley on July 19, 1961, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2008.
Patricia was a homemaker and worked as a telephone operator for 15 years in Florida and Indianapolis.
She is survived by three sons, Terry (Linda) Helms of Buchanan, Tenn, Michael (Nycol) Mosley of Montgomery, Texas, Jeffery (Katie) Mosley of Cloverdale, Ind.; two stepsons, James (Irene) Mosley of Florence, Ky., John (Mary Ann) Mosley of Bullhead City, Ariz.; three daughters, Tammy (Charles) Saunders of Rushville, Lenora (Thomas) Conley of Carthage, Brenda (Richard) Elsamiller of Sumner, Iowa; three brothers, Leslie (Janice) Helms of Rush Co., Kenneth (Janet) Helms of Carthage, Tracy Helms of Carthage; a sister, Sharon (Cecil) Williams of Shirley; and a special sister-in-law, Bonnie Young of Ft Lauderdale, Fla.; and grandchildren; stepgrandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great- stepgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Moster Mortuary, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery in Arlington. George Huff will preside. Services entrusted to Moster Mortuary.
