Andrew Charles “Bill” Blueher, 82, of Greenfield, died on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospice Care. He was born on March 18, 1930, in Indianapolis, to the late William Frederick and Lilliam (Kramer) Blueher.

He graduated from Cathedral High School with the class of 1948, and served in the Navy, from 1948 to 1952, aboard the USS Missouri; He worked for the Ford Motor Company at the Indianapolis Plant from March 4, 1957 until March 1,1988, retiring as the Chief of Security and Fire Protection. Growing up, he was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church since 1988, Nameless Creek Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dian (Steele) Blueher; his loving daughters, Ann (Chris) Schnarr and Pamela (Steve) Hulse; son, Kerry Blueher; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Lantrip; aunts, Delorse Oliver and Ann Vissing; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents; son, William Richard Blueher and two nephews.

He leaves behind several loving family members and many good friends that will miss him greatly.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel, with visitation on the same day from noon until time of service.
