Susan “Sue” C. Ruble, 64, of New Palestine, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sept. 20, 2012, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on April 15, 1948, in Norristown, Pa., she was the daughter of Robert “Bob” and Margaret “Peggy” (Martin) Copeland.
Sue graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1966 and married Larry Ruble on Sept. 24th of that year. She worked as a homemaker and loved spending time with her church, family, and friends. She also enjoyed spending time at the pool and at Myrtle Beach.
Surviving her are her husband, Larry Ruble of New Palestine; children Scott (Tracey) Ruble of Wilkinson, Doug (Tara) Ruble of New Palestine, and Corey (Sarah) Ruble of Avon; grandchildren, Kolby, Kaycee, and Kayden Ruble, Brock and Trent Ruble, and Hazel Ruble; parents, Bob and Peggy Copeland of Schillington, Pa.; and siblings, Janet (Bob) Beilhart of Seaford, Va., Jeff Copeland of Schillington, Pa., and Sally Copeland of Schillington, Pa.
Visitation from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Adaggio’s, Ste C, 5999 West Memory Lane, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m. All arrangements were handled by Erlewein Mortuary of Greenfield.
