Anna “Mildred” Cunningham, 99, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 29, 2012. She was born on Dec.11,1912, in Linton, Ind. She was the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Graves) Fitzpatrick.
She married William E. Cunningham on Aug. 23, 1934, in Linton, and worked as a homemaker. She loved to play bingo and watch soap operas.
Surviving her are her son, David (Chris) Cunningham of Greenfield; daughters, Becki (Duane) Cott of Indianapolis and Debi (Rusty) Chandler of McCordsville; grandchildren, Sherrie Jackson, Kathy Wood, Heather Rogers, Matthew Cunningham, Brandi Harris, Jason Chandler, Joe Cunningham, and Courtney Miessen; nine great-grandchildren and three more on the way; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; sons, Bill, Glenn, and Edward Cunningham; grandson, William H. Cunningham, Jr.; great-grandson, Chad Jackson; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept.1, 2012, at the mortuary. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
