William “Bill” W. Romack, 90, of Greenfield, died on Aug. 25, 2012, in Greenfield. Born on June 20, 1922, in Hancock County, he was the son of Nolan A. and Gertrude I. (Elsbury) Romack.
Bill served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Surviving him are his wife, Audrey J. Romack of Greenfield; and siblings, Max Romack and Frances Foster, both of Morristown.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and daughters, Sue Ellen, who passed away on Sept. 17, 1951, and twins, Leisa Gay and Teresa Kay, who died June 11, 1955.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m.on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. with one hour of additional calling starting at 1 p.m. Burial will full military rites will take place at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
