Kenneth Morris, 89, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation of Greenfield. He was born Aug. 1,1923, in Rushville, to the late Chester Arthur and Kathern (Muncie) Morris.

Kenneth attended Brandywine grade school and was a graduate from New Palestine High School. He attended classes at I.U. on the G.I. Bill after his service. He retired from Jenn -Air Manufacturing in 1989. Kenneth served his country in World War II in the Army Air Corp as a 1st Lieutenant stationed in Italy where he piloted a B-24. Kenneth was a light plane pilot, loved flying model airplanes and restoring old airplanes.

He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Jacqueline Joyce (Reynolds) Morris, whom he married on Dec. 25, 1950; sons, Michael Kenneth Morris of Greenfield, Dan (Judy) Morris of Lawrence, and Kevin Morris of Greenfield; daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Fred) Stukenberg of Seattle; grandchildren, Matthew Morris, Elise, Michael and Eric Stukenberg.

He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers, Harry, Raymond and Danny Morris.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Pasco Chapel. Burial will follow in the Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at the funeral home.
