Lorene C. Buck, 96, of Anderson, passed away on Aug. 17, 2012 at Countryside Manor Health Care Anderson. She was born on July 25, 1916, in Hilham, Tenn. and resided in Anderson since 1940.

She is retired from Delco Remy. Lorene and her husband were members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson. She helped form the Jolly – T Club. She loved to fish, working crossword puzzles, and, watching gameshows. She truly loved her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

Lorene is survived by her son, Bruce C. (Sue) Buck of Anderson; daughter-in-law, Karin Buck of Provo, UT; sister, Lydia Wilkinson of Anderson; brother, William C. (Dalphine) Carmack of Livingston, Tenn.;

grandsons, Derrick (Stephanie) Buck of Pendleton, Dan (Bobbi Jo) Buck of UT, and Tim (Tara) Buck of Provo, UT.; granddaughters, Suzanne (Curtis) Haughton of Seattle, Wash., Julie Buck of New York, Jenny Buck, and Michelle Buck both, of Salt Lake City, UT; great-granddaughter, Alex Buck, Rachel Buck, Sarah Buck, Diana Buck, and Vanessa Buck; great-grandsons, Cole Buck, Spencer Buck, Westley Buck, and William Buck.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Marvin P. Buck; father, Jim Carmack; mother, Dora Carmack; son, Dan Buck, grandson, Philip Buck, sisters, Martha Bell Mottler, Ruth Poston, Helen Tucker, and Jessie Rose Ramsey; brother, Raymond Carmack.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, with Rev. Gary Cable officiating.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
