Wesley John Perschbacher, 79, of Crete, Ill., recently of Bloomington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
Wes was retired from Moody Bible Institute. He was a graduate of Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, Calvin College, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
He is survived by his six children, Norda (Steve) Sturm, Andrew (Jackie) Perschbacher, Charles (Kim) Perschbacher, Ruth (Bill) Morton, Daniel (Linda) Perschbacher, and Linda (Derek) Leman; 26 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (June) Perschbacher and Robert (Donna) Perschbacher; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Perschbacher; brother, William Perschbacher and his parents, Garfield and Rena Perschbacher.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Suburban Bible Church 3010 – 41st St. Highland, IN. Funeral service wil be on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Suburban Bible Church with services conducted by Rev. John Mangrum. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens, Rockford, Mich.
