Howard Adams, 88, Greenfield resident, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born on February 12, 1924, to the late Glenn and Edith Adams. He was raised by foster parents Doc and Lettie Renforth.
He worked at Delco Remy in Anderson, retiring after 32 years, but he still had to be active, so he worked as a security guard until health problems made him stop. He enjoyed doing word search puzzles. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army.
Left to cherish his loving memory, his sons, Virgil Adams of Spencer, Harold (Teresa)Adams of Fortville, and Terry (Rose) Adams of Greenfield; his daughter, Lucinda Adams of Summitville; and also four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Bethel Holiness Church (242 West Morgan Street Knightstown, IN 46148). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Bethel Holiness Church in Knightstown with Reverend George Maloyed Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
Military Honors will be conducted by Fortville, Indiana American Legion Post 391.
