David A. Keim

David A. Keim, 64, of Greenfield, passed away on July 15, 2012. He was born in Olean, NY on May 20, 1948, to Clarence and Gertrude (Williams) Keim.

David served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, retiring from the U.S. Army in 1993, and retired from DFAS in 2005. David was a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion. He loved golf and bowling and was very active in the youth bowling program.

David is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Learn) Keim; daughters, Eileen (Jay) Craig, Jill (George) Hobbs and Kristina (Scott) Blanchard; eight grandchildren; mother, Gertrude (Williams) Keim; siblings, Barbara Klingbeil, John Keim, Steve Keim and LeAnn Keim-Collavo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Keim.

Visitation for David will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. before service on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. David will be laid to rest in Alleghany, NY.
