Martha E. “Jean” Kessinger, 76, Indianapolis, died on July 4, 2012, in Indianapolis. She was born on Sept. 24, 1935, in Maybeury, W. Va., and she was the daughter of Fred C. and Dora (Belcher) Watson.
Surviving her are her children, Jimmy Kessinger of Indianapolis, Larry Kessinger of Indianapolis, Kevin (Karen) Kessinger of Greenfield, and Karen (Tim) Hudson of Greenfield; siblings, Red Watson, Mary Helen McPherson, Frank Watson, Wes Watson, Don Watson, and Sue Donathon, all of N. C.; grandchildren, Angela, Kevin, Jr., Kathy, Sarah, B.J., Jimmy, Kourtney, Amber, Summer, and Jake; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, Ken, El, Kurt, C.J., and Charles; sisters, Cora Lee, Kathleen, and Barbara; and a great-grandson, Ian Kessinger.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Tim Halloran and Reverend Larry Bush will be officiating and burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
