Sheila Rose Ellis, 75, of New Palestine, died on July 1, 2012. She was born on October 22, 1936, in Martinsville, and she was the daughter of Harold and Gladys (Williams) Sturgeon.
Surviving her is her husband, the love of her life, Don Ellis of New Palestine; children, Michael (Colleen) Burton of St. Petersburg, Fla., Vicki (Tom) Elrod of Morgantown, Donna Jean (Joe) Peters of Gosport, Phillip (Dana) Ellis of Fishers, Laura (Jack) Taylor of Franklin, John (Sharon) Keith of N.C., and Angie Keith of Indianapolis; brother, Jack (Sue) Sturgeon of English; sisters, Barbara (Ed) Jones and Beverly Bird, both of Martinsville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and granddaughter, Rachel Elrod.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the mortuary. Pastor Burt Brock will be officiating and burial will take place at New Palestine Cemetery.
