Mr. Ronald Creel, 61, a resident of Walnut Grove, passed Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. after an extended illness. Mr. Creel was born in Union, Miss. on June 14, 1950, and had resided in the Walnut Grove community for over twenty two years.
He is survived by his parents, Colan and Lela Doxie Creel and three children, Amy Saunders (David) of Greenfield; sons, Aaron and Tyler Marcum of Walnut Grove, Miss.; siblings, Dorothy Fairchild of Muncie, Steve Creel of Indianapolis, Gary and Terry Creel and Scott Creel all of Walnut Grove. He also has five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 25, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, Miss. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, from the Ott & Lee Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment followed in the Reids Chapel Cemetery.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
