Patrick McCoy Chew, 19, of Knightstown, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital on May 29, 2012. He was born in New Castle, Ind. on July 20, 1992. He is the son of Rusty P. Chew and Amy June Chesher.
Patrick specialized in making everyone part of his family and being a best friend to anyone who needed one. He loved mudding, fishing, and four-wheeling.
Patrick is survived by his father, Rusty Chew of New Castle, Ind; one brother, Carson Dale Chew of Spiceland, Ind; two sisters, Cody June Michelle Chew of Texas and Samantha Michael Grunow of Greenfield; his fiance, Shelby Rumple of Knightstown; Paternal Grandparents, Gary and Sharon Hutson and Pete and Paula Chew; Maternal Grandparents, Rita and Gene Hollars; his Great Grandmother, Orlynn Houser; and one nephew, Hayden Patrick Price.
His mother preceded him in death.
Arrangements are being handled by Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown, Ind. Viewing will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012, at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Brother Randy Gross at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Spiceland Cemetery.
