Benjamin David Wait, 4, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 28, 2012. He was born May 7, 2008, in Indianapolis the son of David and Jennifer (Foshee) Wait.
Known as “Ben Ben”, he was a fighter from day 1. He was always smiling and happy and loved to cuddle and listen to music. Ben loved playing with his brother, sisters, cousins and uncles. He loved for people to sing to him and everyone who met Ben loved him. He loved to be with Mom and Dad and other family members and to go on walks.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; siblings, Hannah, Jack, and Rachel; maternal grandparents, Mike (Nancy) Foshee of Greenfield; paternal grandparents, Dan (Debbie) Wait of Hagerstown; maternal great-grandparents, Grace Young of Greenfield and Don (Mary) Foshee of Michigan; paternal great-grandparents, George Smith of Texas, Jane Wait of Texas, Lee (Barb) Smith of Sulphur Springs, Gerry (Tina) Snodgrass of Yorktown; seven aunts; seven uncles; and two cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfathers, Ron Johnson and Jerry Young; paternal great-grandfather, Gene Wait; paternal great-grandmother, Joan Smith.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel, with Reverend Frank Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m., Friday, June 1.
