Gary L. Dismore, 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his residence in Franklin. He was born on April 6, 1947, to Kenton L. and Ellen (Goodwin) Dismore.
He married Donna Loveday on March 18, 1972. She lovingly survives. Gary attended New Palestine High School. He was a Army veteran. He worked at GM Truck and Bus in Indianapolis for 35 years retiring in 2005. Gary enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s many activities. He was a caring person who would lend a helping hand to anyone.
Other survivors include his father, Kenton L. Dismore of Greenfield; children, Jennifer (Wayne) Huntzinger of Whiteland, Ryan Dismore of Demotte, Ind., Melinda (Justin) Strain of Franklin, Lonna Dismore of Greenwood; brothers, Steve (Sharon) Dismore , David Dismore, Keith Dismore all of Greenfield; grandchildren, Brooke Huntzinger, Corbin Huntzinger, Kamryn Huntzinger, Wyatt Strain, Savannah Strain, and Jonah Strain.
He was preceded in passing by his mother, Ellen Dismore.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, also at the funeral home.
