Curt Austin Lynch, 26, of Fountaintown passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Methodist Hospital. Born on March 1, 1986, in Indianapolis he was the son of Robert “Bob” and Carla (Tribbey) Lynch.

He graduated from New Palestine High School and was attending DeVry University. Curt worked as a clerk at the Marsh in New Palestine. He attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He had been a percussionist with the New Palestine High School Band when they won the Winter Percussion Competition numerous times. He loved music, movies, gaming, being a WWE fan, and watching college football.

Surviving him are his parents, Bob and Carla Lynch of Fountaintown; brothers, Bryan E. Lynch of Carmel, Aaron W. Lynch of Fountaintown; grandmother, Catherine (Mahle) Tribbey Keesling of Knightstown; many uncles and aunts, and a special uncle and aunt, Eric Tribbey and Dr. Margaret Kaiser of Mountain Lake Park, Md.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Robert and Frances Lynch, Carlos E. Tribbey, and W. Gerald “Pop” Keesling.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, also at the mortuary. Reverend Mike Smith and Bob Adams will be officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
