Eleanor J. Saunders

Eleanor J. Saunders 88, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice in Greenfield. Born October 24, 1923, in Lawrence, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Enola (Dunn) White.She was a 1942 graduate of Maxwell High School and married Charles Leo Saunders August 2, 1942. She was a 30 year employee for Delco Remy of Anderson. A 50 year member of the Eden Eastern Star, member of the Red Hat Society and Trinity Park United Methodist Church.Survivors include two granddaughters, Amberlee (Chris) Hudson and Shana (Chris) Wolfenberger; and three great granddaughters, Ashton Hudson, Savannah Hudson and Zoey Wolfenberger.Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leo Saunders; a son, Larry Saunders; and two brothers, Kenneth White, and Willis White.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Mike Manning officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East in Indianapolis.
