Jerry R. Linkous, 74 of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. Jerry was born in Montgomery County, VA on August 13, 1937, to the late Mr. Mason & Ora (Harris) Linkous.
He was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He was an avid sports fan, loved fishing and restoring old cars.
He is survived by loving wife, Marlene Linkous; daughters, Gina (Roger) Crowder, Darla Richards and Denise Linkous (Chris Eberhardt); grandchildren, Stephen Cox, Justin Cox, Matthew Linkous, Tyler Costigan, Josh Richards, Travis Richards, Whitney Crowder and Austen Crowder; 8 great-grandchildren and best dog ever "Scrappy". The family would like to thank our special Angel Tammy Staley for all her love and support.
He was preceded in death by his brother, LeRoy Linkous.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 10 a.m. – 1p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, Carrollton, IN, with a 1 p.m. Service.
