Elton R. Phillips, 85 of Fortville, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
Elton was an Engineer Pattern Designer for International Harvester retiring in 1981. Elton was a member of the Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Murat Temple, Fortville Christian Church, past president of New Palestine Fire Department, he also had been past board member of New Palestine Town Board.
Elton is survived by his brother Wayne (Liz) Phillips, daughters, Artis (Jeff) Kingston, and Arlene (Jim) Privett; grandchildren, Tina (Todd) Hauk Catron, Jimmy (Nikki) Privett, and Jessica (Shannon) Privett; great-grandchildren, Reagan Hauk, Gavin Privett, Evan Privett, Nicholas Catron, and great-stepgrandchildren Kylie, Gage, Jacob Catron.
Elton was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, and sister Phyllis Kegeris.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. till the time of the service at Flanner and Buchanan, Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
