"Jean" Roberta Gooding, 69, of Morristown passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at her residence. Born on Jan. 7, 1943, in Clairmont, Ohio, she was the daughter of John Sr. and Marjorie (Vilvance) Farquer. She married Donald L. Gooding on Oct. 2, 1964, and he survives.
Mrs. Gooding enjoyed crafts and cooking.
Other survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Marie Infante of Greenfield; sons, Paul "Eddie" Farquer of Fountaintown and Nathan Hail "Jim" Thompson the 4th of NC; brothers, Donald L. "Don" (Mel) Farquer and Richard E. "Dick" Farquer, both of Fountaintown, Salvester W. "Pat" (Becky) Farquer of Lake Santee and Billy J. Farquer of Indianapolis; sister, Brenda S. (Fred) Roach of Rushville; sister-in-law, Jo Farquer of Rushville; uncle, Roger Kimmberly of Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a twin brother, John R. Farquer.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Wayne Scott officiating. Interment will be in Fountaintown Cemetery.
