Judith Elaine (Allford) White-Turner, Age 67, passed away at her home in Knightstown on Feb. 28, 2012. Born 1945 in Madison County, Indiana, Judy was a lifetime member of the Shirley Wilkinson United Methodist Church.

She graduated from Wilkinson High School in 1963 as Salutatorian of her class and then went on to earn her R.N. license from the Methodist School of Nursing in 1966. After a long career in nursing, Judy became Chairwoman of the Board for GasAmerica Services in 1999. Judy founded the GasAmerica Charitable Foundation which has helped to raise funds for scholarships and other numerous charities over the years.

Judy was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 32 years Richard White and her parents Marion & Edith Allford.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Jan Ross Turner of Knightstown, her two children Stephanie (Terry) White-Longworth and Keith (Tami) White; one brother Mike (Ruth) Allford, all of Wilkinson; her stepchildren Kevin and Paula Turner, 12 grandchildren; Sara, Samantha & Melissa Longworth, Jacob and Samantha Rogers and Abbigale & Olivia White, Graham, Duncan, Julia, Anna and Ross Turner, one great-granddaughter, numerous nieces & nephews and many dear friends. Judy was a thoughtful, generous and compassionate woman who will be missed by all.

Memorial contributions may be made to the GasAmerica Charitable Foundation Scholarship Grant, 2700 W. Main Street Greenfield, IN or the American Cancer Society.

Memorial services will be held at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson on Monday, March 5, 2012, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
