Peggy Davis, 85, a resident of Franklin, formerly of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at the Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin, Indiana. She was born on Sept. 13, 1926, in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of the late Juanita (Owen) Hubble and step-father, Thomas G. Hubble.
Peggy was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. She was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 138 of Pendleton. She was an active member of the Spirit Soars at the Greenfield Christian Church. She loved making quilts and cross-stitch pictures for her beloved family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Leo (Karen) Davis of Greenfield, Ken (Gladys) Davis of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Linda Davis of Greenfield; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Davis in 2011 and son, Jim Davis in 2004.
Family and friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at the Greenfield Christian Church. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
