Earl F. Baer, 89, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Sugar Creek Nursing Home. Earl was born Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1923, in northeast Hancock County, the son of Walter and Beatrice Baer.
Earl was retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a WW II U.S. Air Force Pilot and belonged to the Greenfield American Legion.
Earl is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha Trimmell Baer; daughters, Linda Collins (Beth Ingleman) and Jackie Reeck (Charles) and grandson, Joe Collins. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Baer and a sister, Eloise Sullivan.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel – 11636 East Washington Street, on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, with a funeral ceremony at noon.
