Carolyn Rose McKeeman, 69, of Greenfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan.,15, 2012. She was born on December 30, 1942, in Indianapolis to Leo and Clara (Lenihan) Seifert.
Carolyn graduated from New Palestine High School in 1960. She married Rex “Lefty” McKeeman on March 3,1962. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Greenfield. Carolyn was also a dedicated and loyal sponsor for AA.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Rex; five children, Kelly (Brad) Wilson of Muncie, Mary (Ken) Houck of Greenfield, Cathy (Cap) Boso of Indianapolis, Matt (Andrea) McKeeman and Robert (Mindi) McKeeman, both of Greenfield; ; sisters, Mary Willman of Indianapolis, Anna Breunig of Indianapolis and Kay Ellis of Greenfield; brothers, Mike Seifert of Indianapolis, Bernie Seifert and John Seifert, both of New Palestine;eleven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Seifert.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Rosary service will start at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Greenfield. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
