Janet Lynn DeVine Varner, age 58, of Fountaintown, Ind., and formally of Robinson died unexpectedly on Jan. 1, 2012 at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

 As owner and operator of DeVine Doggies Pet Grooming Salon, she was a well-known pet stylist in both Ill., and Ind.

 She was born on March 26, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa to Wilma and Roger DeVine.

Her parents survive in Washington, Ill. She married Mark Varner on Aug. 28, 2005, and he survives as well as her children Kelly Jo (Joey) Woodworth Spitznagel of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Kyle (Christy) Woodworth of Sugarland, Texas; step-children, Stacey (Aubrey) Forrester of Henderson, Ky., Eric and Ginny Varner of New Palestine, Ind., and grandchildren, Heidi Lynn Spitznagel, Aleksey and Keaton O’Dell and Morgan Varner. Also surviving are sisters, Diana (Steve) Winters of Indianapolis, Ind., Donna (Loras) Reiter of Davenport, Iowa; and brother Steve of Denver, Colo.

 Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at the Funeral Home, with Pastor David Ducommon officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine.
