Fred E. Lee, age 90, of Indianapolis, died on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. He was born Dec. 19, 1920 in Pendleton, to the late Earl A. and Mary Davis Lee.
Fred served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Fred is survived by his wife, Becky Wilson Lee; daughter, ShirleyLou (Joe) Kormanec; sons, Kent D. Lee, and Kevin D. (Dawn) Lee; stepchildren, Kent P. Cupp, Kinberly Head, and Kara (John) Pringle; sisters, Mary Ina (Max) Whitaker, and Martha E. (Bill) Foster; and several grandchildren.
Two sons, James Mascitelli and Samuel J. Lee; a brother, John Lee; and a sister, Norma Gilbert, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis. Funeral services will take place on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at 11 a.m., with additional visitation one hour prior to services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Shirley Brothers Mortuaries and Crematory, Indianapolis.
