Kathleen C. Collier, age 94, of Beaver Creek, Ohio, passed away on Saturday evening, Nov. 26, 2011, at Lincoln Park Manor Nursing Home in Ohio.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1917, in Shirley, Ind., to the late Ora and Lucy (Hicks) Cook.
Kathleen was a housewife, secretary at Chrysler Corporation in New Castle for 16 years, then secretary and dental assistant for three years. She then was the church secretary at the First Baptist Church in Richmond for 16 years before retiring.
She was a member of the First Nighters in New Castle, as well as having been a teacher with Bible Study Fellowship.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Gary (Sharon) Collier of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Bruce (Dian) Collier of Titusville, Fla.; sister, Madonna (Gene) Addison of Greenfield; grandchildren, Cynthia (Jay) Richards of Centerville, Ohio, Suzanne Collier of Kettering, Ohio, Jeremy (Jenny) Collier of Franklin, Ohio, Mary (Cory) Kuntz of Centerville, Ohio, Elaine (Aaron) Hedman of Titusville, Fla.; and great grandchildren, Macy, Max, Ashley, Wyatt Richards of Centerville, Ohio, and Payton and Seth Hedman of Titusville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Max Collier.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, Ind., with Pastor Phil Hodgkin’s officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Harlan Cemetery in Wilkinson, Ind.
