Carole Hankins, age 63, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011. Carole was born on Oct. 19, 1948, in Hazard, Ky., to the late Fred and Ethel (Hammons) Pelley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, David Hankins; children, Jason (Maggi) Hankins, Kelly Parker, Zachary (fiance’, Nikki) Hankins; six grandchildren, Annie, Nate, Seth, Nicholas, Christopher and Gavyn; brother, Ron (Debbie) Pelley; Aunt, Josephine Faulk; and sister-in-law, Janice Pelley.
Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Johnson; brother, Fred Pelley; and her parents.
Visitation for Carole will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, Indianapolis. Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at the funeral center, with Michael Bandy officiating. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
