Stanley J. Kletecka, age 62, a resident of Greenfield, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospice, Greenfield.
He was born on May 19, 1949, in Newark, N.J., to the late Louis and Kathleen (Quigley) Kletecka and was raised in Floral Park and Smithtown, Long Island, N.Y.
He attended Delphi University, majoring in Marine Biology; Bachelor’s of Science Degree, Butler University 1971; Medical Technology Degree 1974; Butler University School of Pharmacy Degree 1977. He was also a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.
He worked as a Pharmacist for Hooks/CVS Corp. for over 30 years, serving in different stores across the state. He will best be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, his love of golf, his love for friends and family and his tireless sacrifices on behalf of others.
He is survived by wife Bonnie (Newman) Kletecka; sons, Benjamin C. (Janelle) Kletecka; Jeremy M. (Rachael) Kletecka; grandchildren, Corban and Sophia; one sister; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Kathleen Kletecka.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Friends may call from 2 p.m until 6 p.m. on the day of the service.
