Marla Kay Braswell, age 68 years, a resident of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born on Oct. 10, 1943, in Greenfield, to Howard Brizendine and Margaret McPherson.
Marla was a graduate of John Marshall High School. She was a 1981 retiree of Roll Coater and worked as a part-time realtor. She enjoyed the beach, traveling, spending time with friends, family and her grandchildren, and going to Florida.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret; sons, Todd (Heather) O’Neal of Greenfield, Gary (Becky) O’Neal of Greenfield, Brad O’Neal of Greenfield; daughter, Dena (Jerry) Pardue of St. Paul, Ind.; grandchildren, Gari, Kay, Rachel, Zachary, Skylee, Tandess, Tanessa; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kaysar, Cailey, and Paige.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard.
Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at the funeral home.
