Loretta Johnson, age 73, of Carthage died on Wednesday, Oct 19, 2011, at her home. She was born on July 16, 1938 in Hazard, Ky., to Omar and Betty (Charles) Alexander.
Survivors include daughters, LaDonna Oakes of Phoenix, Az., Candice Westrum of Idaho, and Chantel Herring of Greenfield, Ind.; son, Timothy Johnson of Idaho; sisters, Linda Clouse, Wanda Thurman, Brenda McDaniels, Sandy McWhister and Sue Gallant; brothers, Carl, David, Dale, Gary and Johnny Alexander; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis A. Johnson; son, Michael Johnson; and brother, Donnie Alexander.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, Ind. Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary is handling her arrangements.
