Mary L. Behrens, age 91, of Anderson, died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at her home. She was born on Nov. 30, 1919, in Anderson, Ind. to Theodore and Minnie (Gale) Cook.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Morris) Hersberger of Lapel;
five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one brother, John (Ruth Ellen) Cook of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Behrens; her son, Larry Behrens; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Art Jaggard officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
