Billy D. Jackson, age 84, of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, in Greenfield. Born on June 26, 1927, in Roane County, Tenn., he was the son of Arthur and Anna (Galyon) Jackson.
He married Helen M. (Brown) Jackson on June 12, 1945. Billy made his living as a carpenter and loved to cook. He truly loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Surviving him are his daughter, Doylie M. (Everett) Joyce of Greenfield; grandchildren, Paula, Tonia, and Johna; and great-grandchildren, Randi, Jackson, Ryan, Hannah, and Maggie.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Helen M. Jackson; daughter, Patricia Ann Jackson; and siblings, Charles, Louis, Lucielle, and Margaret.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, until the time of the Funeral service at noon, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
