Janice Sue Emberton, age 61, of Fountaintown, died on Sept. 7, 2011. The daughter of Roscoe Laney and Grace (Sandlin) Laney Breedlove, Janice was born on Feb. 17, 1950, in Coeburn, Va.
Survivorsinclude her children, Marshall L. Emberton, II, Allen Emberton, Amanda Gilpatrick, Kim Morgan, Rhonda Emberton; 13 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; four brothers; and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2011, at Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel, 19 E. Main Street. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in New Palestine Cemetery.
