Wynema (Weaver) Jones, age 93, of McCordsville, passed away on Aug. 22, 2011. She was born on Feb. 5, 1918, in Oaklandon, Ind. to the late John T. and Mary (Scotten) Weaver.
Wynema was a 1936 graduate of Mt. Comfort High School. She was a homemaker and retired from Western Electric. She was a member of the McCordsville United Methodist Church, the McCordsville United Methodist Women, and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by her daughter, Margie (Tom) Alexander of McCordsville; grandchildren, Susan Alexander, Troy Alexander, Angela Burnside and Brian Jones; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Coffey, Logan Burnside, Jordan Burnside, Katie Jones and Anna Jones; and great-great grandchild Aubry Gannon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Henry Jones; son, Bradley Jones; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at Seals Funeral Home in Fortville. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, with Chaplain Carol Sowle of Aseracare Hospice and Pastor John Myrland of the McCordsville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
