Roy Edwin Dice, age 62, passed away on Aug. 16, 2011, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. after an extended illness. Born on Jan. 15, 1949 in Shelbyville, Ind., he was the son of Kenneth and Violet Dice.
Roy graduated from Hancock Central in 1967. He was a sports fan who enjoyed basketball and football.
Surviving him are his mother, Violet Dice of Greenfield; brothers, Tom (Barbara) Dice of Fleming Island, Fla., and Doug (Joan) Dice of Woonsocket, R.I.
Preceding him in death were his father, Kenneth Lavern Dice; and brother, Kenneth Lee Dice.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Kindred Healthcare/Regency Place for taking wonderful care of Roy.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 at Kindred Healthcare/Regency Place in Greenfield.
