Robert E. McCorkle, of Anaheim was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a loving family man, coach, successful business man, philanthropist, past President of Anaheim Rotary Club and past Chairman of the Anaheim Memorial Hospital Foundation. Bob’s contributions to family, charity and business changed the lives of everyone he touched.
He was born in Shelbyville , Ind. on Nov. 12, 1949. He graduated Cum Laude from Indiana Central College in Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree. He owned an accounting practice in Anaheim for the past 27 years. Bob traveled the world and experienced amazing events as they unfolded.
On Aug. 2, 2011, after a 3 ½ year battle with a debilitating illness, Bob moved on to watch over his loved ones from Heaven. Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marilyn; son, Robert; daughter, Michelle; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother, Randy; sister, Brenda and brother, Dave.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Anaheim United Methodist Church , 1000 S. State College Blvd in Anaheim .
