Robert Joseph Tannehill, age 59, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at his home. Born on July 2, 1952, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert Lee and Georgia Mildred (Johnson) Tannehill. He graduated from Reelsville High School in 1970.
Bob worked for Clique Tool & Machine Company as a Machinist. He was a singer and songwriter who loved playing his guitar and played in many area restaurants. Mr. Tannehill was also a member of Brandywine Community Church where he played in the worship band for several years and also worked as a counselor. Bob also loved spending time with his family.
Surviving him are his children, Cassandra (Jonathon Cox) Tannehill of Greenfield, and Robert Z. (Joanie) Tannehill of Carmel; and grandchildren, Aubrey Tannehill, Kayla and Robert Cox, and Reagan and Andrew Tannehill.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert & Georgia Tannehill.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Brandywine Community Church in Greenfield.
