Norman F. Bremer, age 93, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away on July 10, 2011. He was born on Aug. 28, 1917, to the late George B. and Mary Catherine (Entzenburger) Bremer.
Norman served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He married Rheba M. Quearry, and she preceded him in death Jan. 14, 2003, after 56 years of marriage. He was employed as an electrician for Ford Motor Co. for 23 years, retiring in 1980. Norman was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and UAW Local 1111. He was a wonderful man, known by many and loved by all.
Norman is survived by his sons, Michael F. (Micki) and Phillip V. (Nebby) Bremer; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. with calling one hour prior to service.
